Zenni Becomes Official Eyewear of Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew — Retail Bum

Eyewear online retailer Zenni has become the official eyewear brand of the Columbus Crew, securing its first-ever Major League Soccer (MLS) partnership.

Through the partnership, Zenni is looking to extend its commitment to Ohio and the greater Columbus community by creating employment opportunities, providing support, and developing community engagement events centered around eye health and education and gifting glasses to those in need.

The eyewear company plans to grow its manufacturing facility in Obetz, Ohio and add more than 400 jobs over the next few years. The company’s Obetz facility currently produces nearly 2,000 glasses a day.

“We recently opened our first U.S. manufacturing facility in Obetz, outside Columbus, and our partnership with the Columbus Crew will help us give back to this community and thank our stellar and growing workforce.
