Walmart Teams Up With TalkShopLive To Launch ‘Shoppable Simulcast’ Feature on Facebook — Retail Bum

Live commerce platform, TalkShopLive, has unveiled a new feature that enables sellers to effortlessly simulcast their interactive livestreams on their Facebook business page as a Facebook Live event and allows customers to engage and purchase products seamlessly.

The platform has teamed up with Walmart to activate the feature during a live show on June 20, 2023, starring Food Network star Ree Drummond, also known as The Pioneer Woman.

During the TalkShopLive event, Drummond is set to unveil her latest furniture line. The launch will be showcased through a livestream, accessible on various platforms, including TalkShopLive, Walmart’s Facebook page, Walmart.com/live, and The Pioneer Woman’s Facebook page.

The Shoppable Simulcast feature allows sellers to broadcast their livestreams simultaneously across multiple platforms, with Facebook being the initial platform to introduce this capability. Once the stream goes live, reaching up to four pages concurrently, followers of retailers, brands, publishers, and influencers on Facebook receive real-time notifications, enabling them to seamlessly watch the livestream and make purchases directly within the social network, creating a unique and convenient shopping experience.
