Visa Adds New Benefits For U.S. Credit Cardholder From Shipt, Skillshare And Sofar Sounds
Visa has unveiled several new benefits for U.S. cardholders in an effort to drive engagement and customer spend.
New benefits include access to free same-day delivery for groceries and essential household products, access to online learning tools as well as free concert tickets.
“We’re always looking to bring diverse and desirable experiences to Visa cardholders in ways that help create value in how they shop every day,” said Brian Cole, head of product, North America, Visa.
“These new benefit providers enhance our refreshed credit benefits portfolio to deliver special access for Visa consumer credit cardholders.”
The company has partnered with Shipt, which provides delivery services in over 5,000 U.S. cities from over 130 retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS and Target, to provide consumer credit cardholders access to up to three years of free Shipt membership, which is usually $99 per year. The membership will extend free delivery on orders over $35 and up.
Another benefit is being offered through a new partnership with Skillshare, which is an online learning community that offers more than 30,000 classes ranging from illustration, design, photography, video and freelancing. Visa cardholders can receive free membership and up to 30 percent discounts on annual renewals.
Finally, Visa has partnered with Sofar Sounds, which brings live music to life with unique, intimate concerts in over 400 cities around the world. Eligible Visa members can receive a seven-day presale access to Sofar events, plus a free ticket with each purchase of one or more tickets to a show during the presale window.
The new card benefits are part of Visa’s efforts to offer up a more enhanced customer experience and incentivize card usage. The card network also offers its eligible users access to NortonLifeLock — a benefit the card network began offering earlier this year.
