Turkey’s largest fashion rental platform Davet Çok Elbisem Yok (DCEY), is expanding its business into the U.K. market.

The marketplace offers shoppers a selection of international designer labels such as Alice McCall, Banco, Brand, Cult Gaia and Staud, and 12 years since its founding, it has observed significant growth, with customers renting more than a thousand items per week.

“The sharing economy for rented fashion has been growing for some time all over the world. In the U.K., the industry is booming, highlighting the continued consumer appetite,” Eda Franci and Seda Aksoy, co-founders of DCEY, said.

“As DCEY, we are so excited to enter the U.K. market and offer customers an affordable and environmentally friendly (either this or sustainable) way to wear luxury fashion and give designers a way to reach consumers in different geographies.”

The platform allows shoppers to rent apparel, jewelry, and accessories from various brands, in addition to products made by DCEY’s own in-house label. Pieces can be rented for anywhere between 4 and 16 days for price points ranging from 20 pounds to 690 pounds.
