Therabody Appoints New Chief Executive Officer — Retail Bum
Wellness technology company Therabody has appointed industry leader Monty Sharma as its president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Sharma brings over 25 years of leadership experience in global sales, marketing, product innovation, and operations and has held the position of CEO at companies like EAS, Naked Juice, Atkins (now Simply Good Foods), Curves, Jenny Craig, and most recently the Better Being Company.
Sharma is taking over the reins from co-founder and CEO Benjamin Nazarian, who will now serve as the company’s executive chairman.

“Therabody’s category leading and innovative products solve for various consumer pain points to help them lead healthier and stronger lives.”

Nazarian has been the CEO of Therabody since he founded the company in 2016. Over the years, he has worked to revolutionize the company’s offering, taking the company from one single product, the Theragun, to offering an array of products.
