After more than six months of voluntarily recalling its products, the luxury laundry care brand, The Laundress has returned to the market.

Toward the end of November 2022, the Unilever-owned brand released a statement urging customers to cease using its products as a precautionary step due to a potential bacterial contamination issue.

In light of this situation, the company immediately halted all sales and instructed retailers to remove the affected products from their shelves.
Following a brief hiatus, the brand is returning to the market with a rejuvenated strategy, partnering with a new manufacturer and introducing modified formulas that adhere to pharmaceutical-grade production guidelines.

Early in June 2023, the company utilized social media platforms to unveil the upcoming relaunch of its brand. Creating excitement and anticipation, they encouraged their Instagram followers to subscribe for notifications regarding the highly awaited debut of their new collection, set to take place on July 12, 2023.
