The Honest Company Appoints New Chief Digital And Strategy Officer
Consumer packed goods ( CPG) company, The Honest Company, has appointed Pete Gerstberge as its chief digital and strategy officer.
Gerstberger will be charged with developing the company’s omnichannel initiatives and driving its overall digital business. Additionally, Gerstberger will play a key role in the company’s corporate strategy, future company growth initiatives, licensing, partnerships and category development.
Gerstberger holds more than 18 years of experience in digital strategy and product development and has held senior roles at both Amazon and Ring. During his time at Amazon, Gerstberger served as the head of Amazon Key and was responsible for restructuring and scaling the service to more than 50 million Amazon Prime customers, as well as enabling secure, contactless deliveries inside Prime customers’ homes. Prior to Amazon, Gerstberger was vice president and general manager at Ring, where he led the development, launch and management of Ring’s home security system, Ring Alarm, and drove substantial revenue increases for the company.

Gerstberger’s new role will become effective October 4, 2021.
