Supreme Grows Physical Footprint With Stores In Beijing And Chicago
Streetwear brand Supreme is growing its physical footprint in the U.S. and the Asian market.
In the U.S., the brand is opening a new store in Chicago, which will be its first location in the U.S. Midwest. The news was confirmed once posters hinting at a store opening in Wicker Park began popping up around the city. Later, the brand teased its store opening on its official Instagram account with a sign-up link to find out about the store and its opening day.
While images of the space are yet to be revealed, the store will sit adjacent to brands such as adidas, Carhartt, and Levi’s.
Supreme typically marks its new store openings with exclusive logo box tees dedicated to the location. However, whether the brand will offer ones for the Windy City remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, in the eastern hemisphere, the company has opened a new store in Beijing in partnership with luxury multi-brand retailer Dover Street Market, its second location in the Asian market after Japan. The store’s launch comes two years after the company secured its trademark in the country.
The company is reportedly also looking to open a store in the Gangnam District of Seoul, South Korea.
