Stitch Fix Appoints DoorDash CMO to Its Board of Directors — Retail Bum
Personal styling service Stitch Fix has appointed DoorDash Chief Marketing Officer Kofi Amoo-Gottfried to its board of directors.
Amoo-Gottfried has previously held various leadership positions in brand and marketing with Meta and Bacardi. He also brings more than a decade of advertising experience working for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands such as Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, and Nike.
“We are excited for the deep customer, marketing channel and brand expertise that Kofi will provide as we continue to execute on our strategy to evolve Stitch Fix into the global destination for personalized shopping, styling and inspiration,” said Stitch Fix CEO Elizabeth Spaulding.
Amoo-Gottfried’s appointment makes him the ninth member of the company’s board, which is composed mainly of BIPOC, women, and members who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Stitch Fix’s mission of changing the way you get dressed so you can show up to the world as your most confident self really resonates with me,” said Amoo-Gottfried. “With its unique combination of expert stylists and advanced data science, Stitch Fix is well placed to capitalize on the appetite of consumers for experiences and expertise that help them discover the perfect items and outfits they wouldn’t have found by themselves.”
