Ssense Unveils AI Chatbot for Personal Styling — Retail Bum

Ssense has debuted an advanced generative AI chatbot designed to address shoppers’ styling and shopping inquiries.

The chatbot’s advanced functionalities are currently being made available to subscribers of ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI’spremium subscription service, and it can be downloaded as a plug-in from the OpenAI store.

By leveraging OpenAI’s technology and Ssense’s proprietary AI models, the chatbot facilitates seamless communication for shoppers. It allows them to inquire about specific products and receive comprehensive responses, including relevant links to items from Ssense’s extensive catalog.

In a recent demonstration, the luxury marketplace showed how a shopper’s request for guidance on creating “cool, luxury streetwear-inspired outfits” in neutral colors is processed. When asked, the chatbot swiftly responds with a range of recommendations, such as a beige long-sleeve T-shirt from Acne and beige wide-leg cargo pants by Coperni, along with other versatile options for mix-and-match styling.
