Shein Eyes Growth in EMEA, Opens Headquarters in Dublin — Retail Bum
Fast fashion giant Shein is looking to grow its business in the EMEA with the opening of its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and plans to launch as many as 30 pop-up stores across the region.
The company’s new headquarters will serve as a strategic IT hub and the core of its operations in EMEA.
To support the headquarters and the company’s presence in the region, Shein intends to make 30 key appointments by the end of 2023, covering areas such as data analytics, finance management, security engineering, and legal. It plans to continue to build the team as its business grows in the region through expanding its graduate program in Ireland and other hiring efforts.
“I am delighted to launch our EMEA headquarters in Ireland,” said Leonard Lin, global head of government relations for Shein. “Ireland’s pro-business environment and great access to talent make it an excellent hub for companies, including Shein, to manage and grow our business in the region.”
“Our Dublin office opening marks an important milestone in Shein’s growth in EMEA — which is one of our most important markets,” Lin added. “We look forward to contributing to the growth of the local economies and to supporting local communities.”
Shein’s expansion in the EMEA region comes ahead of its plans to go public in the U.S. later this year.
