Shein Expands Marketplace, Adds Appliances, Smart Home Products and Skechers — Retail Bum
Fast fashion giant Shein is looking to grow its business beyond apparel and accessories by launching new product categories on its marketplace.
The company is now selling appliances, smart homes, and even Sketchers as it looks to meet increasing consumer demand and enhance order fulfillment.
The launch comes a month after the company introduced its U.S. marketplace, enabling third-party sellers to showcase their goods on a Shein-branded website alongside Shein’s own products. The platform offers sellers access to real-time data analytics, product fulfillment services, and increased marketing exposure.
“We are always committed to providing our customers with high-quality products at affordable prices, and our expansion into new categories reflects that,” said Molly Miao, COO of Shein, in a statement. “Through our collaborations with these curated brands, we not only highlight the distinctive value of Shein’s newly launched marketplace but also demonstrate our dedication to customer satisfaction and our mission to make fashion and lifestyle products accessible to everyone.”
