Rediscovering Bally: Zurich Store Reopens With New Visual Identity — Retail Bum
Swiss fashion brand Bally recently unveiled its revitalized visual identity at its newly reopened store in Zurich.
The relaunch of the store marks a significant milestone for the brand as it is the first location in Europe to embrace the refreshed design that is centered around advancing the brand’s aesthetics and driving an evolution in design.
The store’s contemporary aesthetic represents an extension of the brick-and-mortar concept, initially introduced at Bally’s flagship store in New York earlier this year. It seeks to harmoniously blend the past and present, evoking the ambiance of an upscale apartment. Vintage furniture and modernist curiosities tastefully intermingle, creating a captivating atmosphere.
The architecture emphasizes the use of metals and wood in the expansive 350-square-meter space, skillfully integrating Swiss design elements.
The store’s interior also features repurposed Germanic-style velvet chairs, a vintage 1968 Shogun lamp, and an elegant ‘Twilight’ standing lamp crafted by John and Samantha Ritschl-Lassoudry, proudly made in Switzerland. These thoughtful touches throughout the store beautifully reflect the region’s rich culture and values while also accentuating the brand’s heritage and commitment to the environment.
Over 90% of the materials used, including repurposed aluminum and eco-certified wood, are sourced from the enchanting forests of the Jura Mountains, where the brand was originally founded.
