Rebag Announces New Rewards Program
Resale platform Rebag has announced the launch of its first-ever rewards program, which seeks to incentivize shoppers to trade, sell and buy on the company’s website, mobile app and nine store locations.
The program has been designed to include four tiers — Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. Members are rewarded one point for every dollar they spend, which they can redeem for a $20 credit once they have reached a balance of 1,000 points. To kick off the program, Rebag is offering qualifying customers a starting balance of 2,500 points.
Other than driving sales on its platform, Rebag is hoping that its rewards program will encourage customers to purchase more pre-used products and ultimately increase their participation in the circular economy.
“Since we began, our vision has been to fuel the circular economy and facilitate a sustainable cycle for luxury goods — our new program is built to support that by rewarding existing and incentivizing new resale buyers, sellers, and traders alike,” said Rebag CEO and founder Charles Gorra.
Rebag’s rollout of its rewards program comes on the heels of its $33 million Series E investment round in December 2021. The company raised fresh funding following significant growth over the course of the last 12 months. It experienced 4x growth in new categories such as fine jewelry and watches as a result of the company’s launch of Clair AI and Clair Trade.
