Orangetheory Fitness studios’ largest franchisee, Honors Holdings, has opened an expansive, two-story, 6,800 square feet flagship store in Manhattan — twice the size of a typical Orangetheory studio.

The flagship store has a street-level retail store, where it sells co-branded Orangetheory merchandise, in addition to apparel and accessories from other sports companies such as Nike. It offers an immersive shopping experience that has been designed by use of digital signage, such as two 14-feet LED billboards.

The flagship location has also been outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and Orangetheory’s proprietary in-studio and wearable fitness technology, allowing members to both shop and engage in their fitness routines.

The new location marks the fourth studio that has been opened by Atlanta-based Honors Holdings in New York City. Overall, the company operates 135-plus studio locations in Georgia, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and Washington, D.C. It also supports 45 sub franchisee locations across seven markets as an area representative for Orangetheory.

“As a franchisee, Jamie and his team embody the mission, vision and values Orangetheory was built upon,” said Dave Long, CEO of Orangetheory Fitness. “The Honors team proves time and again they are committed to providing a best-in-class experience for all of their members, and we couldn’t be happier that Jamie is at the helm of our flagship location.”
