Nike has appointed Jared Carver as the new president and CEO of Converse.

Carver, who has been serving as the vice president and general manager of Converse North America for the past four years, is taking over the position from Scott Uzzell, who is set to head Nike’s North America business as the new vice president.

The news comes less than a week after Nike announced several changes to its executive ranks. As part of the shuffle, Heidi O’Neill, president of consumer and marketplace, has been named the new president of consumer, product and brand.

Meanwhile, Craig Williams, president of Jordan Brand, is now president of geographies and marketplace. Another key appointment is Chief Financial Officer Matthew Friend, who is taking over an expanded set of responsibilities, including procurement, demand and supply management, and global places and services.

The appointments come after Nike reported a 14% increase in revenue to $1.24 billion, compared to the year before, with the company registering growth across all its ventures.

“Consumer demand for our portfolio of brands remains uniquely strong, fueling unit growth of approximately 10% despite increased macro uncertainty,” Friend said in March 2023. “Nike, Jordan and Converse all drove double-digit currency-neutral growth this quarter.”
