Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) has appointed Renée Paradise as senior vice president of digital business and customer strategy.

The move to appoint Paradise comes as Neiman Marcus is seeking to further strengthen its position as the largest luxury eCommerce player in the U.S. by creating unique and personalized omnichannel experiences for customers, enabling them to seamlessly shop in-store, online and mobile.

Prior to joining NMG, Paradise was responsible for driving direct online sales and amplifying digital business efforts as senior vice president, customer revenue and growth at Bloomingdale’s. Before that, Paradise led eBay’s luxury sneaker and streetwear business.

“As we continue to invest in our digital business to better serve our customers and provide the ultimate integrated luxury experience, Renée’s accomplished background and experience will be pivotal in propelling us forward,” said David Goubert, president and chief customer officer at NMG.

In her new role at NMG, Paradise will lead the company’s digital business and infrastructure efforts and establish NeimanMarcus.com and NM mobile app as core components of the Neiman Marcus brand. Furthermore, Paradise will drive customer strategies and programs, such as the brand’s customer loyalty solution to create highly personalized relationships and integrated experiences across various customer sales channels.

The appointment of Paradise follows several key hires made by NMG, which include Bob Kupbens, who is now serving as EVP and chief product and technology officer at NMG; Paolo Riva, NMG’s new SVP and general manager of brand partnerships and merchandising; Lisa Aiken, who is serving as SVP and fashion and lifestyle director; and Hannah Kim, the company’s chief legal officer, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer.

In a company announcement, NMG noted that Paradise is joining a woman co-founded and majority-women-led organization, where women represent the majority of the company’s board of directors.

The appointment of Paradise will become effective on August 16, 2021.
