Mango is expanding its physical presence in Canada with the planned opening of eight new store locations in Toronto in 2023 as the company looks to build its business in the North American market.

The company is opening a 5,000-square-foot flagship location at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre to kick off its expansion efforts. Seven other locations will be opened in the city this coming summer at Fairview, the Eaton Centre, Square One, Scarborough Town Centre, Vaughan Mills, Markville, and Upper Canada.

The news comes on the heels of a 10-year deal with Fox Group that was signed in 2022 with the potential of a 10-year extension if Mango were to open 20 new locations over the course of the decade.

“We are thrilled to launch Mango in Canada and to bring all the latest European trends and collections to the Canadian market. I am sure the Canadian woman will fall in love and adopt Mango’s fashion,” said Dana Terner, the CEO of Fox Group.

“The brand will provide an international shopping experience and connect the Canadian consumer to the world’s leading fashion trends. We foresee the opening of more stores throughout the country and expanding in the future.”

Mango first launched in the Canadian market in 2005.
