Macy’s Appoints McKinsey Executive as Chief Customer and Digital Officer — Retail Bum
Macy’s, the US department store chain, has appointed Massimo (Max) Magni as chief customer and digital officer.

Starting August 21, 2023, Magni will report to Spring and be responsible for steering the strategy and vision for Macy’s digital enterprise, anchored in customer-centric approaches that leverage data and analytics to amplify experiences across various interactions.
Some key areas Spring will focus on include online retail sites, mobile applications, marketplace initiatives, and loyalty and gift registry schemes — all aimed at showcasing products and distinct encounters that offer customers a broader array of options, exploration, and inspiration.
