LVMH Shakes Up Top Ranks at Berluti and Chaumet — Retail Bum

Antoine Arnault, the heir to the LVMH conglomerate, is stepping down as the chief executive of luxury menswear brand Berluti.

Chaumet chief executive Jean-Marc Mansvel will now hold the position, whereas Arnault will continue to serve as the chairman of Berluti and Loro Piana. Meanwhile, Mansvel’s position will be filled by luxury jewelry brand Fred’s chief executive Charles Leung, starting January 1, 2024.

“I am very happy and quite emotional to welcome Jean-Marc as the new CEO of the exceptional Maison Berluti, building on values of elegance, audacity and unique savoir-faire,” Arnault said.

“Jean-Marc’s wealth of experience that he has demonstrated throughout these years will be decisive assets in driving the ongoing development of Berluti.”

The executive shuffle comes less than a week after LVMH announced that it will serve as the official designated partner for dressing the French team from head to toe for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 opening ceremony.
