Lululemon Team Up With Zalando To Sell Clothes — Retail Bum
Athletic apparel brand Lululemon is looking to grow its footprint in Spain by leveraging the online fashion and lifestyle platform Zalando across Europe.
In addition to selling products through its brick-and-mortar stores, Lululemon will soon be offering its products on Zalando through a collaborative program and shipping service in 12 new markets.
It is worth noting that the European fashion and accessories retailer boasts an even broader reach. Zalando recently revealed that it currently serves over 51 million active customers across 25 markets, underscoring its extensive customer base and significant presence in the industry.
Lululemon’s partnership with Zalando reflects the brand’s continuous expansion in Europe. In July 2022, the athletic apparel retailer announced its plans to launch its clothing line in three notable Spanish cities: Barcelona, Madrid, and Calle Serrano.
In addition to Spain, Lululemon plans to expand its reach to Italy and Thailand. Simultaneously, the brand is aiming to strengthen its presence in established international markets, including South Korea, Germany, the U.K., and Australia. The company’s expansion plans include opening 70 new stores in China by 2026, ultimately reaching a total store count of 220 in the country.
