Kate Moss Enters The Gaming Metaverse
British supermodel Kate Moss has entered the metaverse with luxury fashion styling gaming app Drest, offering up two weeks of high-fashion styling challenges.
“It was incredible to see the avatar Drest has made of me, and I enjoyed being involved in the creative process, just as I did when designing my high jewelry collection for Messika. I’m excited to see how the players will style me over the next two weeks. My tip? You can never wear too many diamonds,” said Moss in a statement.
As part of the experience, Drest players can dress Moss using clothing and accessories from more than 250 luxury brands that are available on the app, including labels such as Gucci, Burberry, Versace and fine jewelry by Messika. Items from Messika can be used for free in every dedicated Kate challenge. And those who choose to feature the collection have an opportunity to win a ‘Baby Move’ pendant in white gold worth $3437.
In addition, players can design beauty looks for the supermodel using Drest’s makeup items. Exclusive shoot backgrounds such as a fashion runway, Cotswolds field, which emulates Kate’s countryside home and luxury hotel lobby are also available to users.
The Drest x Kate Moss offering aims to pay homage to Kate’s most iconic fashion moments, tasking players with creating looks that demonstrate their fashion talent.
