IPSY Appoints Makeup Artist Ash K Holm as Brand’s Chief Makeup Artist — Retail Bum

Beauty subscription service IPSY has appointed celebrity makeup artist Ash K Holm as its chief makeup artist for Spring 2023.

To date, Holm has garnered over one million Instagram and 200,000 TikTok followers and has been behind some of the most iconic looks of Hollywood’s most famous A-listers.

“Experimenting with makeup is one of the truest forms of self-expression, something both IPSY and I are passionate about,” said Holm. “I couldn’t be more excited to work with the brand to inspire the IPSY community to be their most authentic, unique, beautiful selves and share my methods and must-have products with so many beauty enthusiasts.”

In her role, Holm will serve as IPSY’s in-house makeup mentor and expert on all things beauty for the upcoming spring season.

The move to appoint Holm as the chief makeup artist (CMUA) for Spring 2023 follows IPSY’s acquisition of the beauty subscription service BoxyCharm. Post-acquisition, IPSY decided to retain the chief makeup artist program BoxyCharm initiated in Fall 2022, where Donni Davy, founder of HALF MAGIC and head makeup artist for HBO’s Euphoria, was the first CMUA.
