Home Depot To Hire Over 100k Workers
The Home Depot plans to hire more than 100,000 new associates in preparation for spring, the busiest season of the year.
The home improvement retailer is looking to fill flexible, full-time as well as part-time positions, including customer service/sales, store support, freight, merchandising and warehouse associates.
Given the complexities of today’s labor market, the company is looking to accelerate its hiring process, enabling applicants to potentially receive an offer in as little as one day of applying.
To attract fresh talent and help job seekers find the right role and learn about growth opportunities within the company, the home improvement retailer plans to host a Virtual Spring Career Day event on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. During the event, attendees will hear from various Home Depot leaders, including Crystal Hanlon, who began her Home Depot career as a cashier. Today, Hanlon leads the retailer’s nearly 800 stores in North America as president and was named one of the most powerful women in business by Fortune Magazine.
The Home Depot offers a wide range of health and personal benefits, including tuition reimbursement, company performance-based cash bonus program, paid family leave, backup dependent care, 401(k) savings plan with company match and a discounted rate company stock purchase program.
