American Exchange Group, a firm specializing in accessories and manufacturing, has recently acquired beauty and personal care company HatchCollective for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition marks the group’s foray into the beauty industry and is representative of its broader push to grow its portfolio, particularly in the lifestyle segment.

Recently, the company also expanded into the footwear sector, a journey that was initiated two years ago through the acquisitions of Aerosoles and White Mountain.

With the acquisition of HatchCollective, American Exchange now holds a diverse array of cosmetic brands under its umbrella. These brands include NatureWell, Found Active, Orlando Pita Play, and Paint & Petals.

As a component of the agreement, HatchCollective is being rebranded as AX Beauty Brands. Despite the name change, the company will continue providing its existing product range to customers through retail outlets like Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Amazon.

“I have always believed in a head-to-toe approach when building our brand portfolio, seeking out opportunities that genuinely enrich and enhance the lives of our consumers and HatchCollective, along with their range of trusted and science-backed beauty and personal care products, fits perfectly into that strategy,” said Alen Mamrout, CEO of American Exchange Group in a statement.

Mamrout further emphasized that through this acquisition, the company remains committed to delivering trending products to its customers, ensuring both value and affordability.
