Harry Styles’ Pleasing Brand Names New CEO — Retail Bum
Singer Harry Styles‘ beauty and lifestyle brand Pleasing has hired Goop executive Shaun Kearney as its first-ever chief executive.
Kearney, who worked as Goop’s chief design and merchandising officer, is expected to help the brand expand into new product categories, diversify product offerings and build a community of collaborators and consumers.
In addition, he will help develop strategic and charitable partnerships to continue to expand the brand’s presence while staying true to its vision of creating exciting experiences that blur boundaries and reflect the brand’s worldview.
“I am thrilled to be joining Pleasing as we set the brand up for future scale and success,” Kearney said. “We have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives and expand our product offering through many different lifestyle verticals and multiple channels of business.”
In his new position, Kearney is expected to work closely with the brand’s co-creative directors, Harry Lambert and Molly Hawkins, and Sophie Kerr-Dineen, who heads marketing.
“We are delighted to have Shaun join the Pleasing team. His exceptional vision and extensive experience will be invaluable as we enter the next chapter of Pleasing,” Styles said. “We are excited to continue to explore ideas, categories, and characters alongside him.”
Styles’ Pleasing brand was launched in November 2021, offering hoodies, skincare products, and unisex nail polishes.
