Former Salvatore Ferragamo creative director, Paul Andrew, is planning to relaunch his namesake brand this fall season. The collection is expected to feature a few silhouettes that fuse comfort and wearability but pack color and modernity.

“It’s on my own time, on my own pace,” said Andrew in an interview with BoF. “The targets are based on my own ambitions and I can scale the business as fast or slowly as I choose.

The move to revive his namesake brand comes nearly a year after the designer announced that he would exit his role at Salvatore Ferragamo. Andrew originally joined the Florence-based design label back in 2016 as the women’s footwear director and was promoted in 2019 to oversee all categories.

He later left Ferragamo in the spring of 2021 as the label looked to bring on Burberry’s former chief, Marco Gobbetti, as its new chief executive.

Previews of the new collection are expected to be released in March 2022.
