Luxury fashion platform FARFETCH has announced the departure of Elliot Jordan, who will be stepping down after more than eight years of serving as the chief financial officer (CFO).

As Farfetch looks to identify his successor, Jordan has agreed to serve as CFO through the remainder of 2023.

“Elliot has been a fantastic CFO, and I very much appreciate his continued commitment to the business until the end of the year,” said José Neves, FARFETCH Founder, CEO and Chairman.

“I look forward to working with Elliot to ensure a smooth transition. We are some way off from saying our ‘goodbyes’ but his legacy will be formidable finance and business services teams that are part of a company that we believe is extremely well placed to continue to lead the industry and drive profitable growth — and Elliot has been an important building block of our success.”

Jordan joined the company in 2015 and has helped the company grow its annual GMV from $380 million in 2015 to $4.1 billion in 2022 and expand its business to more than 190 countries and territories. He is also recognized for guiding the company from a private corporation to a publicly traded one, leading up to Farfetch’s New York Stock Exchange listing in September 2018.
