Cartier Appoints Lily Collins As New Face Of Clash [Un]limited Capsule Collection
Since its debut in 2019, Clash de Cartier has aimed to defy expectations with edgier, punk-leaning fine jewelry pieces that not only push boundaries but scream duality and freedom.
Cartier is now looking to bring the edginess of its Clash de Cartier to its latest capsule collection, which seeks to strike a balance between masculine and feminine components while remaining true to its brand aesthetic.
The pieces in the collection accentuate geometric lines with the use of spiky yet voluminous white diamonds, onyx and punctuated hints of amethyst.
To promote the launch of Clash [Un]limited, Cartier has unveiled a campaign that spotlights the brand’s approach to fine jewelry, featuring British-American actress, Lily Collins, who is the new face of its campaign.
The French Maison has looked to fuse its luxurious craftsmanship and the punk aesthetics of Clash [Un]limited collection with Collin’s appointment, whose lead character in “Emily in Paris” portrayed a similar style.
“Cartier is proud to announce Lily Collins, friend of the Maison, as the ambassador of the new #ClashUnlimited jewelry collection. Free-spirited and authentically herself, she embodies the creative duality of this exclusive capsule collection,” said the company in a statement.
According to Cartier, the five most mesmerizing pieces from the collection include a rose gold mesh bracelet, a reversible diamond and onyx picot bracelet, an XXL two-finger picot ring, and a bracelet covered in amethyst studs and a traditional tennis line featuring upside-down diamonds.
“For me, being part of the Cartier family means joining a community of free-thinking individuals who demonstrate great strength of character. What’s more, Cartier is Paris, this certain idea of elegance, this French refinement, which the Clash [Un]limited jewelry and the Double C de Cartier bag embody with classic extravagance,” said Collins.
