Canada Goose Launches Resale Offering — Retail Bum
Luxury parka brand Canada Goose is entering the resale business with the launch of its recommerce platform, Canada Goose Generations, in partnership with Trove.
The platform aims to promote circularity by enabling consumers to trade in their Canada Goose outerwear and apparel pieces as well as shop a curated assortment of renowned styles, iconic heritage pieces, and limited-edition items from the brand’s 65-year archive.
“Canada Goose Generations is our purpose in action — a tangible and meaningful way to keep the planet cold and the people on it warm,” said Carrie Baker, president of Canada Goose. “We build products that last a lifetime, and each one has a story to tell. Generations extend their collective tale while minimizing their environmental impact.”
The launch of the platform marks the latest effort by the Canadian brand to become more sustainable by promoting circular fashion.
In January 2023, the company began offering a rental edit on Selfridge’s website and its London flagship store. Customers can choose to rent the brand’s fleece-style jackets that are made from bio fibers and recycled wool and jackets from its Regeneration collection, which has been developed using upcycled materials and surplus fabrics.
Rentals are available for a duration of 4, 8, 10, and 20 days, starting at £55 for four days.
