Italian luxury fashion house Brunello Cucinelli expects to end the year with high levels of demand for its recent collections.

The brand is forecasting a 28% increase in sales for the year as demand for luxury products remains high even in the face of inflation and recession fears.

“Much has been harvested in this 2022, the year of full rebalancing for our Casa di Moda, thanks also to the serious, creative, and manufacturing country to which we are honored to belong, as well as its Welfare state,” said executive chair and creative director Brunello Cucinelli.

“During the past two pandemic years, we have not made anyone redundant: this has certainly enabled us to maintain our production and commercial structures in full efficiency and has put us in a position to meet the needs of the world market where demand seems to exceed supply.”

Last month, the brand revealed that it made €642 million in the first nine months of the year, marking a 23.2% increase at constant exchange rates. The brand benefitted from excellent growth across all channels and markets with the sell-out of its FW22 collection.

Looking ahead, the company expects sales growth of nearly 12% next year, thanks to a strong order intake for its Spring Summer 2023 collection, with sales exceeding the €1 billion mark for the first time.
