Customer engagement platform, Braze, has announced a series of new products and enhancements called Braze for Commerce, aimed at enabling retail and eCommerce marketers to increase sales through data-driven personalized campaigns.

The offering comes at a time when retailers and eCommerce brands are observing hybrid shopping behaviors and heightened customer expectations. These businesses are also tackling recent privacy-related changes on iOS and a lack of third-party tracking data.

Through Braze for Commerce, the platform is seeking to help marketers rethink their relationships and consumer experiences by creating impactful and personalized campaigns. For example, Braze Catalog, which is one of the key features offered by the platform, allows businesses to streamline message personalization by infusing product data into messages across any campaign on any channel. Additionally, marketers can use Braze to capture new kinds of data in innovative yet compliant ways with existing tools such as Braze Surveys and new SMS click tracking.

The platform also offers a feature that unites owned and paid channels and allows brands to reduce ad spend by immediately shutting off ad campaigns the moment a shopper converts elsewhere.

In addition to Braze for Commerce, the platform has announced the general availability of its Shopify integration through the Shopify App Store.

“At the core of Shopify’s Ecosystem is our community of developers who give merchants access to critical commerce technology,” said Fatima Yusuf, director of commercial at Shopify. “We’re happy to welcome Braze to the Shopify App Store, bringing its insight and experience in customer engagement to Shopify’s millions of merchants.”

The offering allows Shopify merchants to create a real-time sync of their customers and purchase data with a simple click — no coding necessary.
