Balenciaga Will Show Next Collection In NYC
Luxury fashion house Balenciaga will be presenting its Spring/Summer 2023 collection in New York City on May 21, 2022.
The Kering brand’s move to present the collection in the U.S. marks the industry’s return to pre-pandemic destination fashion shows.
Dior also recently announced plans to present its pre-fall 2022 collection in Seoul on April 30, 2022. Meanwhile, Chanel has booked a show in Monaco for May 5, 2022, and Gucci has penciled in May 16, 2022, for a presentation at an undisclosed location in Europe.
The news to present creative director Demna’s upcoming collection follows the brand’s recent debut of its Winter 2022 360° collection during Paris Fashion Week. The luxury label also recently unveiled its new three-floor flagship store located on Bond Street in London.
No other details regarding the upcoming event, including the venue, have been revealed so far.
