Sustainability-focussed footwear and apparel company, Allbirds, has made its way to the city of Atlanta with the opening of a new retail store and community center at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.

The 3,000 square foot space has been designed using natural materials and features the use of furniture that evokes the natural world, such as custom wood try-on chairs and displays and uniquely shaped mirrors. In addition, customers can see the carbon footprint of each product clearly displayed — a first for the fashion and footwear industry.

The new location pays homage to the city of Atlanta through unique products such as rabbiteye blueberry shoelaces, handmade laser engraved Georgia peach pins, as well as photography featuring local members of Allbirds Allgood Collective.

The new Atlanta store is the 30th retail store the New Zealand-American brand has opened so far.

The store is located at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE at Ponce City Market and is open on Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
